Super Smash Brothers: Melee Message Board  

Anyone go to this website? Nintendo.com has a link to this website they give daily updates on brawl every weekday.

By the way Sonic wont be in brawl because super smash bros = all nintendo characters.

Sonic = Sega
Sega = not nintendo.

True, but i'm sure they won't add him as I can't get too hyped for this title. I'll be honest, the wii is absolute garbage. I own one and the only game I play is Super smash bros melee which is a gamecube game. The reason wii is selling like hotcakes is because it's pretty much a grandma/non gamer friends ONLY console.

Things I would LOVE to see in brawl i'm sure won't be there. Basically, we're americans, the people making this are japanese. They do not care what americans have to say about this game, we have the coolest ideas for characters but nintendo isn't really a listener to the hardcore gamer, they will make loads either way.

I just hope brawl has random online battles like I wanted in pokemon diamond/pearl instead of that friend code garbage.



I doubt we'll see many more than the few characters they've already released to the public in brawl. Super smash bros to melee was a HUGE advancement but brawl will most likely be a dissapointment. Similar to the halo series.

Lol, the first paragraph reminded me of an article I read a few months back about how the PS3 will be the ultimate victor this gen.

I agree Melee is a great game, however it has a huge amount of bugs and was not designed the way it is played, basically it was rushed so it could be a release game.

I personally think the main difference between Brawl and Melee is Brawl won't be rushed (as much) which means the characters may be a lot more balanced in Brawl than Melee.

If you look at the differences between SSB64 and Melee, other than a lot of exploitable glitches in Melee, they are played almost the same (based on playability), fair enough, Melee has a wider selection of characters and levels, however the game is much more unbalanced than in SSB64 and because it is unbalanced there is a major gap between the playability of a lot of characters where as IIRC SSB64 had fairly balanced characters (at least more balanced than Melee), Brawl will more than likely bring back more balance than was in melee.

actually, from what my sources have told me, the nintendo company has bought all of the older games from sega todistribute as Wii Games which are purchased. now, if they bought ALL of sega, then there is a chance that you'll see the Ultimate Showdown of "Mario vs. Sonic" in SSBB

OMG! That's brilliant, but a little expected since Nintendo made 'Sonic and The Secret Rings' for Wii. Though they could of just bought the rights, not Sega or pernament ownership.

Hopefuly, they won't use him again.
