So you still can attack the bearier with daedric, silver and enchansed weapons.

resist normal weapons is weapons like iron steel elven dwarven
daedric silver and enchanted weapons arent considered normal weapons
and resist normal weapons 7% isnt much at all, it only decreases the damage you take from normal weapons by 7%, almost nothing
