No. This isn't Super Smash Bros. This is Super Smash Bros. Melee. In case you didn't realize it, the two games are on DIFFERENT SYSTEMS! The cheating devices are completely different too! There isn't even an Action Replay for Nintendo 64!

It is true that GameShark can permanently affect your N64 games. But Action Replay can have no effect on your GameCube games. It cannot. It's just NOT possible. Even if you put in random numbers for the codes it will NOT affect your game. The GameCube itself is not able to modify the contents of a game disc. So there is no WAY that using Action Replay could POSSIBLY change your GAME DISC in any way.

If thats true, then what happened to my Sonic Adv. 2 game? I used my friend's AR and do you know what it did? Every time I try to select a certain level (Pumpkin Hill) my TV freezes up and starts buzzing. Its really annoying. So I don't use AR unless I suck at the game otherwise. And, yes, it definitely can damage your Memory Card.

If you don't see problems with any other games then the problem is definitely with the game disc. However, AR didn't have anything to do with it. It's just not possible for the GameCube itself to do anything to change the discs. It's not physically possible.

So all I can say is that the disc got damaged (scratched or whatever) but not as a direct result of using the AR.

Try changing your memory card. You're memory card may be corrupt and what's causing it to freeze up like that...

Other than that... take care of your games... AR didn't do it, you did.

Uhh... This one person I know, he got his Super Smash Bros Messed up by AR. Now he lost the ability to use Link,Kirby, and Pikachu. When someone chooses them, it resets.

I MEANT Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Your loss. AR does not damage GameCube games.

*goes to play as Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and Giga Bowser, play VS on the Target Test stages, and play VS on the Home Run Contest stage... among other things*
