iv just been saving up for a turbo for my impreza, and the best 1, which is an original turbine kit puts power from 351bhp to 468bhp, and costs £38,400 , but a stage 2 turbo puts it from 351bhp to 438bhp,which is 30bhp less than the original turbine kit, and costs £16,000 less than the original turbine kit so 16,000 for an extra 30bhp seemed a bit of a rip off, is it worth it? cuz the original turbine kit says it aimes for peak power in the high, medum and low rpm or something along those lines, but the stage 2 only provides peak power in the low and medium range. Which would i be better off buying?

I would stick with the original turbine kit. This kit is relatively inexpensive compared to stage 4, but also provides quite a bit of punch. The advantage of an original turbine kit is that it provides torque through the whole RPM range, and not a particular RPM range like the stage turbos. So go for the original kit. Always.

oops.
Well i dont have much experience of impreza turbos. I was under the impression that stage 4 costs 75000+ or summat.
Oh well it is for most cars anyways.

Get the original turbine kit, like i said it has a consistent effect through the WHOLE rpm range, and not just on high or low ranges.

I think they're all right, but they REFUSE to move sideways.
Anyways, i prefer Evos to Imprezas. Better looking, more fun, faster, and most importantly: they can drift.
