How do I use Xbig? I have downloaded it and managed to extract the files, but I cannot put them back into the saved game that I am trying to edit.

I have used typed 'ufo_et.exe saveeditor.xscr unpack slot{n}' into cmd prompt and it looks like the game starts to load, but at the last minute it closes again and I get the following windows error message:

Internal error occured - please send error log file crash090207_081618.txt to technical support

I have checked the save file and still only have 1 file - any help would be much appreciated.....

I get the same message when I try, I use the trainer, but it whud be nice to have some better accurasy

i try y say but in the error report say "saveeditor.xscr was not found" it cannot be unpack or pack if something missing.

where can i get the saveeditor.xscr file ?

Does it matter if you have gold or regular edition. Because I have gold edition. I tried and tried but every time I try to unpack I get an error, I tried alt tabbing myself out of the game but it went out just then when the error showed up. Than I tried Xbig tool. It unpacked successfully but it didn't put the files back together its impossible to repack it with that tool. Im seriusly ****ed nothing works. I wanna cheat god damn ,the game is just too hard. I dont care about the gold, CoSMOS fixes that, I want to modify my soldiers. I don't get it why is this so impossible .
EDIT: Seriusly???? All I had to do is just go to options and press pack and unpack save game? Thats annyoing, messed around with it for hours and this is how you acctually do it. Its really that easy at least in gold edition. Well good that I finally got it figured out
