Excuse me, but just for others who don't know, but WHAT THE IS HELLJUMPERS!?

helljumpers are those really cool guys on Halo 2 that are with u on delta halo they wear the black armor that looks like MC but only in black armor

helljumpers may look cool but they are almost exact to a marine. the purpose of the black armor is because its heat resistant, so they wont burn on their way throught the atmosphere. they are trained the same as a marine, and they are just addition forces. marines are the first wave of troops, and they arent launched directly from a ship, a pelican is launched from the ship with the marines in it. a helljumped is shot from the ship down with pods as extra reinforcements.

i know but that is what makes them cool they take the risk of being killed on impact from the crash and marines just ride in a dang pelican

actually they dont die from impact, its the heat from entering the atmosphere. and in the pelican, they are more prone to getting shot
