A special quest is a quest that pops up when u have completed a certain amount of quests certain times. It is highlighted in purple and usually apears at the bottom of the list of quests in the HR. Sometimes the special quest might change it's name, purpose, or payment ammount.
EXAMPLE:The special quest called "Repel The Garuga" will change it's name to "Revenge of the Garuga". It all depends on the ammont of times u complete the quest or if u have obtained the Gold or Silver Crown for the monster that you have to fight on that quest.
