ive downloaded some mods unzipped them to the maain directory and its as if they are not there!!!!

Don't unzip them to the main directory. Unzip them to your desktop or make a folder & place your zip folder in it, then unzip it. This should create a gamedata folder just place this in C:\\THQ\STALKER - SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL. Make sure that you do change 1 little thing in the bin folder locate the file called fsgame & right click open it with notepad. You will have to change a line from
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$|gamedata\

to
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$|gamedata\

then save. Your mods should now work. Hope this helps

All my mods work perfectly even with out changing the $game_data$ = false\true\ $fs_root$\gamedata\....

i'v downloaded the traider mod and put it in both temp stalker folder and C:\\THQ\STALKER - SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL
and it dosen't seem to work at all no matter how i try it used to work then i got ride of it now i'm trying again and nothing happens but 1 weapon and i'v tryed new game and loading and old game and as if nothing is there still.

and when i use the trainer mega mod i diden't used to have to download the trader mod because the infant RU's would take care of it but none of the weapons ae coming up just normale ones you'd get if you wernt moding and i don't seem to have a 'bin' folder. i haven't updated stalker it's organle.

i realy need help i'll be very grait full if someone helps me please.
