Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Message Board  

Please someone tell me how to open this damn console. I press the ~ button but nothing. I really like this game but i cant open the console. Please help!

What a PC, just pres the button near the opening tray, if that dosent work go to:
Start-> my computer-> and select the drive the disk is in to eject it.

to open the console, press ~, if that didnt work, right click on the vampire the masqurade icon, go to properties, and o the target, it should say something like; "C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines\vampire.exe", just type +console after the .exe, so it will look something like this; "C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" +console

try it and see if that helps.

As seen on Cheats for Vampire:Bloodlines, the console is easily enabled.

Actually the correct way to have the console available is: "C[drive game is installed]:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console 1

It is the '-console 1' that sould be added (without quotes). This does work and is also part of the Cheats found on this site and other sites.
