I cant beat Dran!!!! I sit there and shoot him for hours and he wont die!!!!! Can Someone help me??

First you have to attack him with Zoe until he falls to the ground, then give cloud a stamina drink and go and attack him with cloud while he's on the ground, repeat this process till he's dead.
