i don't know if you have already finished typhon but here's an hint to smash him.
i've already finished the game and i'm playing the second difficulty level
i've the dream and nature mastery and to kill typhon i´ve used 5 or 6 scrolls of sky rage.
you must activate the scroll near him, wait until it stars working, i sugest you run around him, and then, in the 15 seconds the scroll works you kick his ass strongly.
when the effect of the scroll finishes you must came back to the path that ends in the summit (i gess that's the correct name of the place where typhon is) wait until the scroll recharges and repeat the action.
after you do this 5 or 6 times you sould be earing the voice of zeus calling you the greatest of heroes and then you'll rock the underworld!
you should buy 10 scrolls of sky's rage to make sure you have enough, to do that lokk for them in the places where you have traders or sellers of magic items in the orient. after you search all of them save the game and exit, then losd and repeat the searche for the scrolls. you must do this cause you will only find 2 or 3 scrolls you can buy. doing so you get the necessary number of scrolls with no problem.

i forgot something. if you don't have any gold left, play the game back from the beginning, catch all the yellow and green and blue named stuff and sell them.

What I do is get ur pets and have them distract him then attack. When ur pets die make more{be sure 2 keep many potions}. And if that doesnt work then just ask for help from someone.

I'm a battlemage and trying to defeat him by melee didn't work for me. what you can try is this. Equip/Switch to bow, hopefully you can get your hands on one that deals some good damage. Next, stand at the top of the stair where he in located. Don't come out to far. He's come to you, at this point just keep shooting with the bow and heal when needed. When you are close to dying just back off down the stairs, typhoon can't follow you. Then just heal and repeat. The only way he can heal himself is either by taking health from you (that red misty looking breath) or when you exit the game. I was able to portal back to get more potions and come back without him regenerating.
