@KOG I have a problem with someone not being a believer cause i dont want them to burn in hell.

I am a Christan but i wont lie i slip up and don't let it rule my life.

As for the atheist i have a question why be a person of no religion yes maybe mine is not the right one. (i think it is which is why i chose it and am considering going up to catholicism which is pretty much the same) BUT having one religion is better then none right thats like not taking a free ticket to a world of eternal peace yeah there are a few other tickets to but its better then not having one at all RIGHT?

Has anyone PMed ES as he asked here? Link

You cant wait to see him rot? You enjoy watching someone suffer for eternity?
Try explaining that one to your God.
Its sick people like you who put me off the whole idea of religion. I'd rather burn in hell than enjoy watching someone else suffer it.

Please do not confuse the views good religion and morals with the views of this perverted mind who claims to be doing Christ's work.

I fight for the Catholic Faith and there is no faith like mine and a few billion other people around the world. My faith CANNOT BE TWISTED

    "My faith CANNOT BE TWISTED"

I bet thats what all the Muslim terrorist think.
Do not take this the wrong way, its just that you sound like a zealot. You may believe strongly that you are correct, but so did people who believed the world was flat, and they hung people for believing otherwise. You should always be open to the possibility you are wrong about anything.

Maybe I said that the wrong way.

What I meant to say is to not confuse my faith with something as the first post in this topic.

"no i wouldn't mind, but i don't happen to have a bible lying around. god did create it though, when he cast satan from heaven."

    [url]www.biblegateway.com'>Link Look there.

"so God could not give us free choice without the possibility of suffering? i thought God could do anything..."

That's still not free choice nor does it make any sense.

You're attempting to ask questions such as "Can God make a stick with only one end?"

    No sense.

"arn't you taking a risk by not being of another religion? what if another religion is right and you are wrong."

We are talking about God or no God. Not whose God is right.

"If God knows all that will happen to each individual person and they're fate, then doesnt that contradict free will??"

    No it doesn't.

Just because God knows what's going to happen DOESN'T mean that God plans out our day or tells us what to do. No contradiction there whatsoever.

"yes it does, God and the bible contradict itself quite a bit"

I'm sure that happens from time to time, but you have to consider two things-

    1) The New Testament 'fulfills are corrects' the Old Testament.

    2) You take the Bible too literally, without any faith.

The word 'Well' has multiple meanings, how you want to see it is up to you.

"If Jesus is a god, why did he worshipped god?"

Jesus was God, yet suspended of his divinity. The only difference Jesus had between you and I is that he was able to call upon his divinity...or God for that matter.

"Man... If some guy claimed to be the son of God today he is locked up in an insane asylumn. But 2000 years ago it was okay. Thats all im going to say about this topic."

    Yes, but times change.

In the 60's disrespect to your parents was disgusting.

    Today...well...you know.

My point is that society changes over time.

Well all I'm saying is, It really bugs me when people of a religion try to preach there ideas, onto non-religious people, thats some that religious people don't seem to understand, do know how many people I have told to go away, because they come knocking at your door trying to make you a believer, its really bugs me, if I choose not to believe in anything, thats my way of thinking, and I don't like people saying, that the way I believe in, is wrong, that like a non-believer, going around, knocking on peoples doors, trying to make them not believe.
