Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific Message Board  

A quick mod I made for all people requesting cheats for this game.


Changes in version 1.2:

* Deck guns now work in stormy seas
* Changed Slow and Ahead 1/3 settings to prevent high speeds in port ( PS: Thanks Hind for the reminder, forgot to include the .cfg files for this )

Changes in version 1.1:

* Increased speed of subs
* Increased health of subs (hull)
* Prevention of flooding ( You can still sink, but needs to take much more damage! )
* Increased radar/sonar/visual sensor efficiency
* Further enhancing torpedos ( Abit more damage and range to the blast )

Changes in version 1.0:

* Blast radius and power increased on torpedoes
* Increased ammo of deckguns and made them rapid firing
* Increased crew efficiency and health, making them virtually immortal and highly skilled


Install instructions:

1. Back up the following files/directories if you want to remove the mod later on:

Data/Library/Torpedoes_US.zon
Data/Library/AI_Sensors.dat
Data/Library/USSubParts
Data/UPCData/UPCCrewData/CrewMembers.upc
Data/Submarine/NSS_***/NSS_***.sim
Data/Submarine/NSS_***/NSS_***.zon
Data/Submarine/NSS_***/NSS_***.cfg


2. Unzip to your Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific directory.
Default path is: C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific

IMPORTANT:
Please make sure you have "Extract full paths" enabled in WinRAR
or similar unzip programs.

* Deck guns working in stormy seas
* Change Slow and Ahead 1/3 settings to prevent high speeds in port

Torpedo super speed would be great.

Unfortunatly, at the present time noone knows how to do this or if it is even possible to do. However, if a solution should arrive I won't hesitate to use it
