you can get mewtwo but you need red blue yellow to get him then trade him HAPPY

yes you can in red blue yellow after pokemon league go to curulian city then the dude standing near a cave talk to him he'll move then you go in go though the cave to the end. save it when you find MEWTWO and make shure you have an Ice or Electric pokemon to freeze him or paralize him. weaken him then catch him with ultra balls only.

Don't confuse this with the titles Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl for the Nintendo DS, which was announced years after this incident.
