to become the best trainer you need to assemble the best pokemon so I have the list of the pokemon I use. Here they are Stylix Lv100 Sysor Lv100 Raichu Lv100 Charizard Lv100 Blastoise Lv100 Dragonite Lv100 I only had to train Stylix and Sysor in the game silver The rest I got from my blue version with infinite rare candies. Steelix and Scizor are both weak to fire, bad idea.
Blastoise and Charizard are both weak to electricity, another bad idea.
Besides, it all depends on the person who's using the pokemon and what move sets you give them.
Also, any pokemon trained with Rare Candies will be significantly weaker than the same pokemon trained in battle to the same level.
