Yes, true, but you cuold find out if he learns Blizzard.

BTW the best moves for Salamance depends on your main pokemon. Try to tune your Salamances attention on protecting your first pokemon (whether it be Mudkip, Treeko, Torchic, Marshtomp etc.)

For Mudkip (and evolutions) try: Fly, Dragon Breath, Dragon Claw, Ice Beam

I can only really help you with Mudkip, because I picked Mudkip, so if you have something else, just make sure you have Dragon Breath or Dragon Claw

Make sure it is any pokemon that can counter an attack against a Grass (or if you want to keep Mudkip, even Electric) attacks, so if you meet your foe, you have a pokemon to help you give your Mudkip suitable back-up

Your in trouble, I would change you team.

You see, you have 2 beggining pokemon. Since Salamance cannot kill Water pokemon, your Blaziken is (however Blaziken is patheic anyway). Although having Salamance and Sceptile is good (because Dragon Pokemon learn fire attacks, so Salamance can use Dragon Breath against Dragons). However your Sceptile is now vunrable to Fire pokemon.

Perhaps change Blaziken to a pokemon who can counter those Fire pokemon? Or find a way to give Salamance a Water attack?
