Okay I found a fix on one of the boards that has helped my freeze rate dramatically. Apparently Stalker does "Prefetching" of memory in order to make the game's load times more spread out and less noticable, but it also is what accounts for many memory overloads (freezing) and longer loading times. Just add the command line -Noprefetch to your game short cut's target text. I.e., right click shortcut - properties - type -noprefetch after the text in the target box

Hope this helps some of you.

well i use Vista and it freezes ALOT crappy OS

Stupid unneeded comment. Its not MS's fault, that GSC can't program a game so it runs on Vista. MS is only giving the OS and the basic platform. And it runs great for me without the trainer. So i assume its your crappy computer which makes it crash every now and then. Most computer-problems sit in FRONT of it.
