Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board  

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let PWizard and everyone else know that there seems to be a v 1.2 update to C&C 3.
I log on ealier this evening (6pm CST-US), and began to download the latest patch v1.1. When it was completed I noticed that the pop up window readme file listed the update as v1.2. I went on ahead to check the RetailExe folder and noticed that there was indeed a v1.2 update folder as well, (along with v1.0 & v1.1). I attempted to run the v1.1 Trainer that was released and I kept crashing being that the update is a different version than the Trainer is set to run on. And yes, I did run the trainer as Admins since I'm using Vista 32-Bit. I haven't tried it on Win XP Pro SP2 for which I have it duel bootable with Vista so I'm not 100% sure if the trainer will work on that OS with the new update patch. It just took me by surprised to see another update followed behind a recently released update.
If anyone has noticed this new version 1.2 added and have success on running the v1.1 trainer, please post.

Yeah, alot of people have been having trouble even patching to version 1.1 so they made a version 1.2 to hopefully fix whatever was wrong with 1.1.

My patcher kept freezing trying to update it.

Anyway, I'm running v1.2 and using the v1.0 trainer crashed to desktop.

I'm sure PWiz et al with have a new version up in no time.

I was going to make a new topic but im just gonna bump this.

Need an update on your trainer guys (v1.2). =)

Btw the "exclusively CHM trainer" is not up_to_date either. ^_^

We're working on the update.... not sure what you mean about that second part.

Thanks for responding PWizard... I appreciate the update on v1.2 CH Trainer and I'll be checking back soon for its release, (as well as the Mega Trainer).

Althalus, I didn't realize that there were issues with v1.1 but I guess there had to be some things that needed to be address & fixed for EA to quickly get another patch out to the public as quick as they did.

Yeah, Krucial, it was a pain. I am a little upset that the just bundled the two patches together. Oh well.
