The DS feature that allows you to communicate with other people within a mile of your DS. You get to it by clicking on
'Pictochat' on the startup screen.

Pictochat is a program on you r ds that allowes you to communicate with other people who have a ds and are on the same program. I have done it with a lot of my friends. You can draw write type in short, you can have a lot of fun. BUT, you MUST be within a mile to communicate with other people. 💛

A mile? Hell you've got good signal. Normal DSs only work within a range of 10 metres.

Actually, I think there's a kind of programme available (or maybe it's over wi-fi) that boosts your signal range. I have no idea if it actually exists though, I might have made it up.

The new model (the DSi) has built-in wi-fi, so I'm presuming it's got unlimited, or at least better, signal scope for Pictochat. But I'm not entirely sure.
