Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Message Board  

Hi i was playing this game last night and some guard came over to talk to me and say that i have commited a crime and then i started fighting with him and some more guards came over and joined in and then my xbox 360 made this weird grinding noise and the game froze for about 3 seconds and then started working again it does this sometimes anyone know what is wrong with it. ps i have used a cd lens cleaner and it did not make much different. it is really

yea i have that problem some times (not thet exact one) jus try an keep ure 360 well ventilated thats the big issue with the 360 seemingley

yeah, feel your 360 for a hotspot and put a fan on it...just in case.

You shoudn't put your X-BOX 360 on the carpet. Mine is on the TV and that doesn't happen.

My didn't neighter, but it happens often. Some guy complained to a magazine and they advised him to do that

this happens with me. the xbox site says to keep the area around the xbox clean (dust free and what not) and if the problem continues to save on a memory unit and not the hardrive.(don't save anything on hardrive)

My unit does this frequently - I think it comes from the game disc starting and stopping in "mid-scene", so to speak.
