something with your vista OS is keeping the trainer from being able to write to the game's memory. not sure what to tell you to try but likely most trainers you use will have problems because of this.

there may be some tips other vista users can give you on how to get around this problem-

Where did you download the demo from? What link?

BTW Cal -- I know it's hard to fathom how you could have misunderstood his perfect English and all, but I think he said that he uses XP cause "vitsa suck".

Where did you download the Ancient Wars Sparta GAME DEMO from, not the trainer. So, we can see if you're using the same version we are or if there is some different version for your country or something.

OK, I've identified the problem. Apparently Playlogic released TWO demos for this game. Our version 1 trainer was written for the original demo that came out. The one that is posted on the official website now is the SECOND demo that has different playable missions, a small tutorial, etc. We'll be issuing a second trainer compatible with this new demo soon.

If you install the original, you can 'upgrade' to the new one at any time.

for now pwizard has posted a link to the original (1st version) demo for those who want to use the trainer that is available now.

btw the game needed a tutorial!
