the honor blade is a special case. i think it has an enchantment to deal more damage.
However it won't be like the blade of woe AFTER the dark brotherhood missions, where it X number of charges.

honor blade of chorrol does not have any enchantment or poison.. its plain simple ebony sword.

the only advantage is that you can get it as early as in level 7 or 8. ebony longsword at level 8 is an awesome deal.. ur enemies are still in iron age

also, since it is a quest object, it has 0 weight. have fun till u get some better daedric stuff.

for ghosts/wraiths, i am not sure if i used it to kill them... i just thot i did.. but i could be mistaken.. it was long time ago..

Why dont u try using a strong invisibilty potion to get past them or jus turn the difficulty settin down
