Looks like you posted as I was posting duplicate info. I personally had no issues with the direct download, but it seems some people new to the concept are.

Maybe a saved-game editor would be a better fit?

My German version has no bugs so far. The only thing i hope now is, that a trainer for the US/UK version will work on mine here too.

I 100% agree with you mizax. Don't need a fancy trainer just one for money. Nothing more

Well the game has been out here in the netherlands since the 28th of february, but yeah some countries don't get it until march 16 which is to bad i think a lot of people miss out al the fun.

it's f*cking imposible to win some races

for all of those who want to cheat:
i made a small tutorial for editing your TDU savegame so you can add about 1.000.000.000 $ )
1. download a hex editor program like XVI32
www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm
2. back-up your save (in case something goes wrong)
3. open XVI32 (or your hex editor) , open file playersave from My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\username\playersave\
4. overwrite hex addreses 00000038 to 0000003F with FF
(it should be 8 FF's now)
5. save it
6. open XVI32 (or your hex editor) , open file playersave from My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\username\playersave2\
(note: now edit playersave from directory playersave2)
7. repeat step 4 (overwrite hex addreses 00000038 to 0000003F with FF)
8. save it
9. enjoy your millions of dollars :P
