There definitely is a sequel. Yet to be announced but i've read it somewhere that at the end of any of the 3 campaigns, you watch the credits (be patient) and right after the credits, there is a short FMV showing a mysterious force headed to the Milky Way.

Well said! When I made the original post that is what I was talking about. At the end of each campaign there is a short FMV that shows a different perspective on how each side notices this new force. For the UED their radars go haywire, for the Aeon that psychic chic begins to sense them I guess she ascended or something, and for the Cybran their AI detects multiple warp intrusion into their space. So the question becomes then.. Who is this new faction, and what do they want? Will they be playable in the new expansion, or even in a sequel?
As soon as war is looked upon as wicked, it will always have its fascination. When it is looked upon as vulgar, it will cease to be popular.

My take on this is that if Chris Taylor stays true to his rep, there's deffinately a Expansion coming. I have beaten each campaign without the cheats. I just repatched the game today to use the newest trainer, just to see how fast I can beat it on Hard.
So yeah, it is a little short. TA took me over 60 hours to beat both sides Arm and Core, to which I still believe to this day was one of the best RTS games ever made. The feel I get from Supcom is that all this actually took place long before the ARM and Core factions became sentient machines, and that Doctor Brackmen had a lot to do with it. And that Arm and Core are what's left after thousands of years of war.( a little George Lucas action here =P)
That to me makes the story line compelling and believable. Hope they release a good GUI Map editor with it as well, when expansion comes out. I know there's a couple player made ones out, but they are not that user friendly right now.
