    take it apart VERY CAREFULLY adn clean the eye VERY CAREFULLY. sorry about that but it is so easly that it could mess it up. when u take the cover off there is a wire that is connected to the cover so dont pull the cover off tilt the cover to the side.

    No wonder the golden 1 was made inactive.

    You dont pull your playstation apart when a game doesn't work. <.<
    Try cleaning it with a soft cloth from the inside of the disc outward.
    (DO NOT RUB IN A CIRCULAR MOTION)
    If that doesn't work, resort to desparate measures, taking your game to your local video store or anywhere with a "Disc Wizard" or some sort of machine to restore your game.
