And most beginners don't get Dragonscale shields.

its easier for a beginner to get a dragonscale shield than summon a golden saint. that takes about 130 magika. only high elves or bretons would be able to do that as a beginner

It was an accident getting that shield, I was wandering around some islands in the north near Vas, looking for some place for a mission, and I got attacked by a Golden Saint and I killed it (it was so tough xD) and it had a Dragonscale Tower Shield, so I took it

Bummer, I can carry 390, but even now I use like 350 of that, so i'll stick to Dragonscale

wow 350...i only use about 70

you should drop off a couple things

I have heavy armor, 'cause my guys good with it. I dont see anything I could drop really, I use everything I have
I have a lock pick and probe, some magic scrolls 'cause I only know about 3 spells, and cure disease and cure blight bottles x3ea, a couple of torches for the dark, and my weapons. I suppose I could get rid of my shield and have a two handed sword instead... I'll fiddle around with it tonight.

Silver longsword + Heavy armor + Daedric Tower shield = Instant undefeatable.

a good, light weight(35), two handed sword is the daedric crescent. you can get this in tel fyr

or if you want a little more powerful sword at the expence of its weight(60) then chrysamere is for you, it's much easier to get too.
