Well it took a long time, but i finally changed the build time for everything the earth federation has to 1. (at least i think i did everything) I haven't modded anything else, but if anyone wants me to upload it, please say so

I can't seem to get this to work.
I really don't know what I'm doing wrong so I guess I'll have to describe what I do and hopefully get a comment on what I am doing wrong.

So here goes.

I start by making a copy of the units.scd under a diffrent name to make it easy to change back later.
Then I extract the units.scd and get the units folder.
In the units folder I then go for the specific unit I want to edit (In my case the Cybran gunship) opening up URA0203_unit.bp in notepad.
I edit the values I want to change and save the file.
Now being done with the editing part I go for the recompression. I make sure that units.scd isn't writeprotected and then I once again open up the units.scd in winrar, I now drag the units folder into winrar and get the updatescreen in winrar where i leave all the options on default (update mode set to "add and replace files" and compressin rate set to normal) and hit ok.
Winrar starts working on updating the compressed file and about a minute or so later it's done.
I now check to see that the dates on the files have changed, and they have so all should be fine and dandy!
I now open up the game hoping to be able to build my resently modified gunship, but I get really dissapointed to find that the gunship that I am able to build in both campaign and skirmish modes are the original unmodified version.

Please help I'm getting really frustrated.

WOW! Nice of you to upload the files but would it not have been easier to simple increase the build rate of the commander, Eng, and factories?

I do hope that you changed how much everything costs in Mass/energy as well??

I also have changed the buildtime to 1 of each
unit. I wonder why some things still need much
time to be built. Especially air and naval units.
Maybe there is some other value controlling the
buildtime?

PS: If you wanna have god mode for all your units, just
set health/maxhealth to 99999 and regenrate to 99999!

Um where's the file? or am I blind?

Would REALLY appreciate an upload of a units file that builds everithing fast and makes the units have like 99999 in health.
I know I sound lazy but a man has got o work and when you get some spare time you dont want to spend it editing files i notepad, I would rather spend them gaming! =D
