For every 1 out there who needs help on killing the lao-shang lung this is the best way to kill. first of all the lao is weak against dragon and fire but more of fire. then use a greatsword cause it moves slow enough to wail on it for a while apparently my friend just beat it by himself with the eager cleaver. i would if you want to use sword and shield the best weapon so far is the high ifrit cause it has an awsome fire attribute and dont forget about the feline kitchen if you have five felines the best one i like is a meat and liquor combo cause it gives me 50 vital (health) and 5 attack which is the best you can get form the feline kitchen and dont worry there are only two combos that are bad for you if you have five felines. i hope that i helped anyone and if you want more weaknesses of monsters let me know

By any chance did you happen to get this valuable info from the guy named whosoever because i got the same looks like you arent the only one

i did get it from someone but that was the weaknesses of it that was basicly it and if you havent beaten him from the elder chief the weapon i used was the blazing fachion which i think you can get by going through the bone kris

if you want the quest from elder chief you need to do all the quest 1* through 5* quests then do all the urgent quests except the garuga one (u can do it if you want) then you should get giant dragon invasion. use the blazing falchion (s&s) get it from bonekris weapon and always get the first weapon in the list to get the blazing falchion
