Rainbow Six: Vegas Message Board  

Hi all,

im sure alot of you will start saying, "Why would you want to play this game in window mode?"

I'm just the kinda person who don't like playing games in full screen.

So... just wondering, if there is any way to run Rainbow six vegas in window mode?

I tried adding "-window" in the shortcut target.

Also tried DxWnd.

any suggestions?

I had this problem also because I needed to make a trainer which I want to release soon. I used 3D Analyze which worked great! Once you have it open, Select the game exe(r6v_game.exe, NOT launcher!)click the Force Windowed mode option, then click run. It will run on the top left of your screen. It majorly increased my FPS, decreased my alt+tab time by like 75%, plus I was allowed to set breakpoints in memory so I could do my trainer =] Somehow there is a protection where you can't do stuff in memory while in full screen. DxWnd wouldn't work for me either, heh. Hope I helped!
