My first hero was a young male breton. I joined the fighter's guild with him and I was happy with the outcome.
Lots of mon-ay but the guild is very unhospitable. The only thing you get from joining it is a chance to earn money and the right to take what's lying around. No room, no bed, no food, nothing else. Plus they treat you as if they dont know you! Nah... The fighter's guild wasnt for me. That's why I abandonned my nord and eraced the saves I had with him.

My third hero was an argonian with whom I still play today. I joined the mages guild with him and I was'nt disapointed at all! Lots of stuff to do, a bed to sleep in, five-finger discounts to all their stuff, and thay actually know you when they see you. The bad thing is, no reward money for you'r work, A LOT of work and undead in almost every mission.

Still my vote is for the mage's guild. You're vote goes where?

neither... i am currently head of the assassin`s guild and important member of the thieves guild.... go figure.. with the cash i`ve been getting from these two i`ve managed to buy houses in all the cities, plus furnish them acordingly to my status (lavish that is)... it is lucrative in so many ways that the mage guild lack the necesary atraction, and i can take out the entire fighters guild without much trouble...

both, trhey both are good in their own ways, but he has a point that the dark brotherhood and thieves guild do give lots of money.

The Fighters guild is better because when you complete it you can every week or month(I dont remember) collect money or artifacts, or both from a chest in Chorol. They have beds and the other guild members know you. I don't know why they dont apear to know you.

Both guilds!!! Its always cool to steal their things. Mage guild has soul gems, the fighters guild has some weapons... And taking those things is legal mostly
