Theives guild? on Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion XBox 360 Message Board - Page 1

ok im trying to join the guild and i know where the guys diary is but every time i go to his house it say that the other person has the diary, and i cant find her to steal it from her so where is she at so i can steal it back and be part of the theives guild

i think its a glitch what i did is fale it and get a easyer mission (you have to steel a sword) and boom i'm in.
(i am now the gray fox)

Doing some old school gaming.

methredel lives in the water front district. the place where you meet armond is right behind her house. you can also ask on of the beggars. but to safe like 10 gold you can just sneak into her house before noon (she sleeps til then) and steal the book.

The person eho takes it lives in a house on the waterfront, but you might need to unlock the door, and when you steel it she tries to kill you, and cos u arnt allowed to kill her run past a guard and they should kill her.

methredhil(?) is a quest character and cannot be killed.

i already joined the guild but thanks for all the help, all i did was followed the chick to the guys house and took the book before she did
