that's called an introduction. they have them in all Harvest Moon games. i know, they can get a little long, and the one in this game is the longest, but it's part of the game. and, when it all of a sudden ended it, you were at the part where you were at your house and the mayor was talking to you, right? it was right after he got attacked by your dog, and you chose not to help him?? lol, it's ok, i said no too, and had to start over

well, i think you find the Harvest Goddess after you find, what, 50 Harvest Sprites?? and to marry the witch Princess, just pretty much do what it says to in your booklet. i found pretty much an all-around girl guide, so you can have fun with that ^^ Link
