exactly my point from earlier, God wants us to worship him in heaven, otherwise we have to get used to hell.
"I'm still waiting for darkish to get back to me on that shroud business.... "
Ok...the Shorud was unfortunatley caught in a fire in the Medevial (sp?) ages...and when the carbon 14 tests were done, they tested the burnt section which dated the shroud to be only some hundreds of years old.
But, recently it has been retested on a different section of the shroud which dated it back to the time of Christ.
My link above is the Shroud's offical website with the latest breaking news.
"To darkish: You are wondering where the jibberish came from? Go to church. Have you never seen this happen?"
No. My Dad is militray and we as a family have traveled the USA and Europe...have gone to many Masses and I have never witnesses anything like jibberish...
...man, it's hard to keep track..I don't know if ti ahs been addressed or anything, but please tell me where the jibberish part came from in the first place.
"lol, good point. No proof it was jesus, it could be Moses or someone else entirely who isn't even catholic."
I don't think Moses was crucified...
And if it is just an image of anyother criminal who was crucified...I don't think they got the punishment of the crown of thorns.
"If god us free will so we could choose whether to believe in him or not, then if we dont believe he sends us to hell right? that doesn't seem very fair when he gave us that choice in the first place. It's like a terrorist or someone saying "join us or suffer and die" etc. "
No....we send ourselves to hell. Because if we don't beleive in God, we separate ourselves from Him.
God does not wish hell upon us...and any separation from God, is hell.
"So we think we can get to God without Jesus's EARTHLY mother or confess to God without talking to some EARTHLY priest."
Nope, Jesus never said or gave man the power and responsibiliity to confess our sins...
"So we know that no man can claim the power to excommunicate us from our Father."
Christ gave His power and responsibiliity to Peter who passed that power and responsibillity down through the line of the Popes.
The Pope does have the power to excommunicate...but only when deemed needed.
rofl, hang on, who supports this breaking news then? I mean, of those not directly profiting from having real proof for God?
I'll believe it when it's on wikipedia.
And anyone can edit any page in wikipedia...I wouldn't trust it to be the truth...
