Darkish, firstly there are millions of people not brought up in religious backgrounds who are not creeps. Secondly, lack of religion does not equal a lack of a moral code. The fact that atheists choose to do good without the threat of eternal damnation vouches more for them as individuals than it does as many god-fearing religious people. I'd also like to hear your view on my post about homosexuality and your religion I posted earlier in the thread .

Ok, so why do Atheists do good? If death is the end, why be commpassionate to others?

Why go out of your way to make others happy?

Why not just live life to make yourself happy?

you r right! im from Montenegro and there was religion war in ´92... serbia against croatia, bosnia and herzegovina and all moslem people. i am moslim and my grandfather died than! thats just horrible!
