"What a pity, I'd almost believe him if he did."

    Almost...?

"Then why do people try to convince sceptics to believe in God?"

Whatcha mean? Like me debating with you? Probably so one person would change their views...

"Which God? Does this prove a Christian God? Does it prove heaven and Hell? Does it prove any of your beliefs? It may prove to you (I'm still sceptic) that there is a divine being, but is this really what you are praying to?"

Remember that we are talking about God or no God. Not whose religion is right because it is either believe in God or don't in this debate...believe in a divine spirit...or not.

The unexplainable miracles, prove God. Whether He be the Protestant's God. The Catholic's God. The Jews' God...whatever...just, God.

    "Almost...?"

I was trying to be funny.

"Whatcha mean? Like me debating with you? Probably so one person would change their views..."

Go back over the conversation and look where that one originated from

    "..just, God."

    What does that make you?

Well I'm a Catholic, but again, we are debating God or no God.

    Not whose religion is right.

The miracles alone are not enough to prove that God exists.

During my Sophomore year in High School, a brilliant and moral student that I know was Christian died in a car accident which he had nothing to do with the cause of it. The drunk driver who did hit him survived.

A bit unfair that the good Christian believer died while the drunken outlaw lives.

For the record, I'm Agnostic now.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

even though i do not beleive in God..one could argue that his death was a blessing, allowing him to come 'home'

So...you blame God for his death and not the drunk driver...that doesn't make too much sense.

Christians (or those who believe in God for that matter) aren't invincible...

And you changed your views on God because of someone's irresponsibillity...wow.

"The miracles alone are not enough to prove that God exists."

    So what do they prove?

The same subject came up on a different topic and someone said that miracles are the realization that man doesn't know everything yet?

Ok, man doesn't know everything...of course, but if man was unable to create them, then who did? The animals with no intellect? Or man from the future? Or God?

"So if you were God and your creation refused to acknowledge your existence and constantly push you away from society, what would you do?"

ES answered this pretty good thanks, Prove I existed.
god cant honestly say that he gave everyone a chance to love him when he hasn't proved himself to everyone yet.
