that still doesnt make since because if God knew it was going to happen...he knew the world would fall into warfare and famine. why would he do such a thing?
but people often have a misconception of what actually happend in the garden of eden ADAM AND EVE DID NOT EAT AN APPLE or any fruit for that matter. it was a metaphore for something else
and adam and eve didnt know good from evil before they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil...because the tree gave them the knowledge of good and evil..the bible is a great story though, if adam and eve would have eaten from the tree of life thereafter, then they would have achieved imortality and become like god in every way...whether you think that is blasphimy or not, it says that in the bible

pergatory is a made up thing....man made the whole thing up god never said there was a pergatory, there was a heaven and a hell. thats it
and the worship of the vergin marry is stated as blasphamy int the bible because she wasnt anything to be worshiped...she did nothing, twas god that impregnated her. and praying to anyone other than god him self is blsphamy as staded in the bible

- What are you talking about?!? Purgatory is reparation for our sins on Earth. Prayer may shorten the length of time spent in Purgatory, but no ammount of money or prayers from Priests will release souls.
Think of your soul as a white shirt. Sin as a mustard stain. And purgatory as the washing machine.
You sin and you now have the mustard stain on your shirt. You go to confession (which is free of charge) to have the mustard wiped away, but the stain is still there. Pugatory, washes away the stain so you may enter Heaven.
- The infallible teachings have been around for 2000 years, (not all though.) One of them is the teaching of Purgatory which will stay as it is until the end of the world.
- Catholic Church > Dstates. If the Catholic Church declares a Dogma (infallible truth) I'm going to believe it as truth. Again, Purgatory is one infallible Dogma.
- Ok...who said the Catholics worshipped Mary? Who is telling you these lies? We honor Mary for being the Mother of God. Only God deserves worship.
