you know. I don't use Hammers/ lances/ bowguns. I dont think they are very good or powerful enough. If you have vile serpent blade it could kill it (its the one i used to kill it on my first go) and easy to upgrade. Just start with bone blade, bone blade +, then you need 6 Vdrome claws (i think that many) 10 sm monster bone(same i think that much) and 8 Vprey scales

you said that gypceros in the swamp. what quest should i take to meet him?

you can either encounter him in chief request *** or gathering hall **** the one in chief request is pretty easy but you dont get a whole lot of rare items like light crystal or anything. if you want light crystals it would have to be in gathering hall. also if you ever need supernova try catch a gypercros on gathering hall i think you will like the results

yer use the poision axe i killed it wid the lower sword to poision axe and killed it

Poison axe is filled with poison. The Gypceros is filled with poison
I don't think it would be easy killing a gypceros with a poison axe. I would either you a sword with fire or thunder/ stun element. Like the flame falcion is crazy with fire and can kill it in 5 mins. Or the thundertip with deal with it no prob

Dont know why, but u can poison gypceros with the poison battleaxe. No wonders, but poison is not an elemental attack, and it has a pretty high attack, so its not bad. But I agree with MHserious.
