Notes - Auti Quattro requires you turn in a bit sooner for it to take a set as it oversteers more than the other good handling cars. The Porsche Carerra GT and the Koenigsegg CCX react almost immediately to steering inputs, with the GT sometimes turning more than you expect it to. The BMW M3 GTR responds fast as well. The Quattro seems to lose more speed on drops, but that could be because it's generally going faster and gets more air. It's power seems to compensate for this. Since the Quattro oversteers more than other cars, it usually loses in a ramming contest. The CCX and M3 are more ram proof.
My generic setup for career cars. Note that the in game setting (at least for PC) on suspension is reversed, understeer is actually left, oversteer is actually right, but game incorrectly shows oversteer on left, and incorrectely shows understeer on right.
Engine - all the way right (max power)
Transmission - all the way left (max acceleration)
Suspension - 1/2 right of center (top box right, more oversteer).
Nitrous - 1/2 left of center (top box left, more acceleration)
Tires - all the way right (grip) except for drift events.
Brakes - 1/8 left of center (bottom box left)
Super-Turbo Charger - 1/2 right of center (top box right, higher rpm).
For drifting in the Viper:
Suspension - top and bottom box right (more oversteer)
Tires - middle setting for drift tracks, not sure about canyon drifts.
Brakes - all the way left (instead of using hand brake).
