To beat Raquaza get to lvl 35 and then it wont be so hard,and best pokemon to let join yur team are the one's u like.it dosent matter wat pokemn u have i have some laame pokemon but there up to high levels.so it dosent matter.but to beat raquaza the other guy was right.Keep it cool.

The best pokemon to recruit are pokemon of different types. You shouldn't get just one type of pokemon. For example, don't only accept normal pokemon on your team. You will never beat gost pokemon without gravel rock or other throw damage items.

I suggest you get a bunch or silver spikes, graverrock, or iron thorns (silver spike is the best) and throw it at him ir you are at a disadvantage. have a rock, electric, or ice type hurt him while you throw stuff at him

I beat him with my Mudkip, Cindiquil, and Absol, all lvl 35
