when i try to start scarface with this trainer running it tells me to insert the original cd and not use a patch, even though i am using the original cdand before you all flame me for downloading it, i did not download it i can take a photo of the box n stuff if you don't believe me

You might try using the 1.002 no-cd patch for Scarface and see if that fixes the problem. Sometimes the heavy copy protection interferes with the trainer's ability to locate the pieces of memory that are needed for it to work.
