Here's another trick. Try getting under something (must be at least higher than like 4 or 6 worms high to ensure your safety) then use the rope to hang off it, climb higher up then when your still on the rope use anything like a grenade (this includes bannana bomb) and chuck it straight down, of course it will drop on the ground and blow up any worms on the bottom leaving you dangling safely. Although after your turn you may let go. Try using a bannana bomb or holy hand grenade and it will be devestating.
There is a catch...Your worm might let go while you wait, and if the hole is to deep, you'll plunge into the drink. When you drop the thing, swing of the rope, and run, run, RUN !!!
