i seem to have lost all of the exotic items i have purchased, just wondering if this is supposed to happen or not.

try standing in front of tony's desk. there should be an option to enter the "pimp my mansion" mode by pressing the triangle button. then you can choose where to place the objects you purchased.

not what i meant, when i went over to do the missions for the sandman, all exotic items became locked and when i pause the game it shows that i have 0 exotic items.

That loss of exotic thing has happenned to me to , I think its supposed to happen in the game, maybe you get em back later.....?
