Quake 4 Message Board  

This might be very sad but i am not able to input any cheats for this game due to the fact i can not under stand how to get them to work i have got a list of them but can not get them to work and how do u input ctrl + alt+~ into the game as u play

All u do is press ctrl alt ` all together at one time.
Once u do that your cheats will work

You have to enable cheats. You do this by adding the following lines to your Quake 4 icon on the desktop. (By the way you right-click on the icon and select properties. Then you add at the end where it says: "C:\Program Files (x86)\id Software\Quake 4\Quake4.exe"

This is where you add:....Quake4.exe" +set com_allowCons 1

Now the cheats work
