People are free to express their opinion but not judge other people's beliefs.

TO Sophie: I don't think anybody is trying to force their beliefs, but instead, they are just tryig to argue them.
    Good to have you back.

TO JITW: Exactly, people shouldnt be descriminated by their views on creation.

TO D_R: Ok, I created a movement of airwaves and a small electrical pulse created by my body. So called "Miracles" don't allow scientists to prove anything, but they don;t disprove anything either. They could be natural phemonan created by a combination of electrical waves, x-rays, and electro-mag waves. No one relly knows, it could be something supernatural, or something terra-natural.

There's no talk of forcing people. We are merely representing points of view which people can comment on and adapt into their own personal opinions.

Well, I see myself playing a game of tennis against a brick wall and losing.

Obviousoly faith is an issue, you don't have it, I do. I am grateful for all your views on this topic though.

But, if you want to see yourselves as descendants of monkeys, go right ahead, I won't stop you at all.

    -Sophie

I wasn't trying to force my views onto other people, that's actually immpossible here. I can't even force you to read my posts. But if you are going to comment on something, argue your views instead of accusing me of something that I didn't do. The next step for one who cannot argue their views anymore is to accuse others of false doings.

    Zeth-

I was talking about something you could actually see and touch. A good example of this would...hmmm...THE WORLD. Give me something you can see, feel, taste and/or touch, I'll settle for something simple. Not what you said, give me a break. Anyone can blow some air and say they 'created' something.

One last note, I have said it before on this topic.

The Greek Parmenides once said, "Why is there anything, rather then nothing." Meaning if there was nothing a long time ago, there would be nothing still.

And if you don't believe in God, how to you even explain the Big Bang, the first atoms or the start of evolution billions of years ago. Everything in the logic of human understanding has a creator.

    Think about it:

-The Xbox 360 has a creator, Microsoft.
-Microsoft has a creator, Bill Gates.
-Bill Gates has a creator, his parents.
-His parents have a creator and every single ancestor as far back as you want to go, whether it be Adam and Eve or the Neanderthals.
-But what was before that. God, or some atoms that came out of nowhere?

The first atoms or the Big Bang must have had a creator as well because we as humans can understand the theory, note the word 'theory' because it is not proven, will never be proven.

In the end, that will never happen because there are things we can never understand and it will stay that way untl the end of time.

Once again, I thank you for your interesting points of view. For me, I'm done debating unless something really interesting comes up to where I can't fight the urge to say something.

Personally i feel that there is no God. I feel that people believe in God because they don't want to face the fact that we are alone. The fact that there isn't anyone looking over us. And the fact that there will be no afterlife.

And so in a way i support religion, as it can stop people worrying, and make them feel that they are protected.
However my overall view is that no Gods exsist, they was simply invented by people, possibly very smart people, to be a comfort.

-I'm not attempting to tell anyone God doesn't exsist, or convince them. I am simply stating my own views.

"it's silly to not believe in a god"

Well I don't believe in a god but I won't even argue/discuss with anyone about it cos I don't need to..I don't like having someone tell me there's a god etc etc. I got that enough for 9years when I went to school.

How about we just agree to disagree?

ps. i never left, i'm always watching you

Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

    Oooo
    Hear that? Always watching. Always.

Anywho, something I'd like to point out, just because someone says they don't 'believe' in god doesnt necessarily mean they deny gods existance, it could be that they just have no faith in god doing the right thing and all that.

to D_R -You cant actually see and touch and taste 'god' can you?

Though, you can be touched by a pri-... *ahem*

    Resisting...resisting...fails.

    Shibby-

"just because someone says they don't 'believe' in god doesnt necessarily mean they deny gods existance"

That doesn't make sense. Just say I don't believe in the moon, ok? Does that mean I still think it exists? No.

UNLESS! You are talking about something like, 'Not believing in gay marrige.' Of course it is there and you don't beleive in it, but that is something COMPLETELY different and a different kind of believing.

"You cant actually see and touch and taste 'god' can you?"

I didn't create God. I was asking for something you could create out of nothing.

And I would appreciate if everyone would stop avoiding my question-

Would you please create something out of nothing?

Once you do, PM me or something and then I will start to consider that there is no God.
