I'm trying 2 beat this mission called
The Formitable Velocdrome

I had no problem with this mission, after i built up some good armor,velociprey, and took my hunters knife up to assassin dagger. That dagger will kill velociprey in 2 hits, and requires nothing but iron ore and earth crystals. you can mine those while doing the blacksmiths gift quest, the best spot i found is in the wyverns den.

seriously... just spend some time getting all the best armor then SHOW HIM THE MEANING OF PAIN! I'm a leval 3, almost 4 hunter. Just take your sword and shove it up his scaley ass! I've killed like 7 by now. Its easy.

You are only on level 3, I am on level 4. If you cant beat the Volocadrome,then you really need to work on your skills. Try doing the "Your first hunt" mission on level 2.Go to #9 on the map.Go to where #9 and #3 connect and check in the middle of the bushes on your right.You will find some Kut-ku Scales, use them to creat the Kut-ku armor.

k if a lvl 3 can beat it then im suprised get a good weap i think fast should do it and here are some places to mine the den 6just beneath the entrance to the denthere is a clif and you can mine there aso you can mine at ll at the top of the water fall thats all i know and im a lvl 15 hunter suicide missions are realy fun lvl 5 basarios. i have a rathalos fire sword a babel spear gradios shot gun thing (for fun)and dont spend to much time on weapons and armore though bould up money and gather lots of materials 10 of each in my opinion exept get tons of ore and such things i hope this helps. heres my e-mail if you need me: zeromoth@hotmail.com

i know its a bit late to reply lol...but i really had no problem i just used my hunters sword until i got to hr5 and lvl 3 offline missions....but now i really dont have to worry about weapons cause i have the GMR sword...its not a bad sword but now im working on my eager cleaver...but if you have msn and just want to talk about monster hunter heres my email...diamond_skater20@msn.com

use flash bomb and hit it with great sword! improve your sword first.
