In Pokemon The First Movie, it was stated that mewtwo was the most powerful pokemon of them all, genetically created from a mew fossil, this pokemon was cloned and believed that this is the all powerful pokemon even stronger than mew....is this true? is mewtwo really the most powerful pokemon?

In the games, hes pretty darn good, but hes been pushed aside by cool legendaries with odd type mixes, like steel and psychic combo. However, the movies are just movies, so theres no way to know if he really is the most powerful if he doesnt really exist

thanks, i was just curious i guess, i think the pokemon creators should create a new pokemon that is stronger than any other, so that we would actually know who the most powerful pokemon was....

Used to be when there were 150 Pokemon. Now its most likely Speed Deoxys in my view.

In my opinion, it depends on what perspective you look at it from. Mewtwo is one of the best pokemon, but I think that Dragonite or starmie are the best pokemon, but I don't really prefer legendaries.
