First off all help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Where is the Gun Shop located?

How is the best way to beat Carlito in the van when you have to defuse the bombs?

How do you get to all of the bombs without dying? I got one of the bombs, but as I began to go to the next one Carlito ran me over and there is the army of the undead to contend with also. Has anyone beat this part?

The best way to get to the bombs without being slaughtered:

Keep the clown chainsaw & take the motorcycle down into the tunnel.

With the motorcycle you can dodge the propane tanks. Diffuse a couple and when Carlito gets close and rams into the wal run over to the side of the (doesn't matter which) and hack him with the chainsaw. It only takes a couple of hacks and the cinematic will appear. Finish diffusing the bombs and presto.

I have yet to find the Huntin Shack & would greatly accept any advice.

I have gotten all the way through all of the case files except the last one: The Facts.

If I beat the 72hour mode I will post tips. Thanks in advance.

Huntin' Shack is in the Northeast corner of North Plaza. There is a corridor that you have to go through that will lead you directly to it. You'll go by a few empty stores then it will be right in front of you.

If you enter the North Plaza and Huntin' Shack after 3:00 PM on September 19 (first day) then you will activate a cutscene inside...make sure you save before that. If you get there before that time you will have access to all the guns inside.

Thanks a lot. I beat the game, but got a C Ending. Mainly because I died several times already.

What all kinds of guns are in there?

Is there like rocket launchers or anything like that?

Do you have to fight the man with the gun if you get there after 3:00 p.m.?

    Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, and Handguns.

The only big weapon in the game is the Heavy Machine Gun, which you can get from defeating the convicts in Leisure Park. Grab it off the back of their jeep. Sadly, the convicts will return every night at 12:00 AM after you kill them. No matter what you do, they're always going to be back. Also, there is the Real Mega Buster, after you get that Zombie Genocider achievement, which I'm still working on.

And yeah, that time is when the gunstore owner shows up. It's best to get to his store before that time and grab both of the Sniper Rifles to make the beginning of the game much easier.

How hard is he to defeat?

Is he tougher than the Clown?

Another question, If I get the Zombie Genocide achievement and the ndelete my save to start all over again fresh and the achievements stay put, will the mega blaster still be in the Security Room?

The gunstore owner (Cletus) is one of my hardest bosses. The fact that he is constantly shooting with only a small reload time makes him very hard to hit without getting hit. Also, your cover for that fight is not 100% safe so you will most likely get hit quite a few times.

Still, he falls to the Small Chainsaw, just like most bosses in the game if you run up to the counter and hit him with it. Yeah, I think he is harder than the Clown, but I got to know the Clowns moves which made him easier to me.

About the achievement, it would most likely take away the unlockable item. The only thing you would keep would be the actual credit for getting the achievement on your system. If you have it saved to the hardrive then buy a memory card and copy your Dead Rising save. That way you could delete one of the files and start over on a new file, while you still have your old file.

It's sad how this game doesn't have more than one save slot.
