after leaving the sunken ship through the hole next to the mast cross. there is supposed to be a "widget". what is that? is that the thing behind the boat wreckage that makes sora say. what is that? if only i could reach it? if it is how do i reach it?

You need Areial in your party so Sebastian can reach it.
That's another thing I liked abot KH2, all members were in your party without going to the save point to switch, if you know what I mean.
