*Sigh* The best sword in the game is of course, Umbra...Unless you want to go through all the work of getting Goldbrand. Umbra is located at a ruin called Vindasel, West of the Imperial City. A bit North of the Old Bridge.

i hav one more question once u get in the mages guild it tells u to get a staff u go to the cave and necromoncers r there once ur out ur in a island with necromoncers i killed all of them but cant find the staff

Yeah, but If your going to get it, I advise lots of health potions, and some good armour.
