What is the silver key cheat???i'm sure there are many posts about it but none that actually tell me how so plz help

if you come across a silver key during a quest. you can get it and hero save. then get it again. but in the lost chapters they fixed this cheat and once you get a certain amount of keys the autosave will freez and you wont be able to load your game. but i have found a quest that the cheat works on. i forget the name of the quest but you get it later in the game and your supposed to rescue hosteges from bandits in greatwood. there is 2 keys in this quest, one is in the water in fishers creak on the far side of the shack, the other one is up the hill to the right of the trail when you enter greatwood lake

silver key cheat ok on the hobbe cave quest or the lost trader after you get the silver key save and reload and the silver key is yours and theres the another one there in the same spot the key location for hobbe cave is in the middle of the rose garden circle and the one for lost trader is in a weird rock the traders will point it out
